Girls’ contribution is limited in most states, except Guwahati (10 girls) and Gandhinagar (17 girls). Lucknow only has one girl participating which is comparatively very low in comparison with the boy’s participation. Boys participate at high rates in all states, including Imphal (34), Chandigarh (22), Guwahati (17), Gandhinagar (86), Kolkata (24), Lucknow (13), and Bangalore (27). However, in Kolkata, neither guys nor girls contribute anything. The NSTC scheme has developed ten centres, with a total of 273 participants (223 boys and 50 girls).
